Thanks to a combination of fine and coarse bristles, which are thinner and more densely arranged than the outdoor model, it easily copes with sand, dust, small dirt and larger messes.

The sweeping width of 41 cm enables comfortable and efficient cleaning of larger areas such as workshops, warehouses, industrial and assembly halls, corridors or garages. The long and flexible curved bristles adapt perfectly to uneven surfaces, penetrate into joints and help remove dirt even from hard-to-reach places.

The Fritze® XL is also ideal for sweeping stone paving, finely textured concrete floors, artificial turf or textile surfaces including carpets. In winter, you can also use it to remove light snow.

The package includes a high-quality telescopic handle with an adjustable length of 80–140 cm, which ensures comfortable handling and allows you to adjust the length of the handle to the user's height.

Recommendation: For maximum stability, do not extend the handle all the way to its maximum length and leave a few centimeters inserted. When screwing the handle into the broom head, grasp the thinner tube to avoid excessive stress on the length adjustment mechanism.

The Fritze® XL Indoor Broom is designed for efficient sweeping of larger indoor areas and surfaces where regular brooms may not achieve the desired results. Its long, flexible and densely arranged curved bristles adapt to unevenness and help thoroughly remove dirt even from deeper crevices.

Compared to the outdoor version of the Fritz®, the bristles are finer and denser, making them more effective at capturing sand, dust and small dirt, while maintaining the necessary flexibility for cleaning structured surfaces.

The broom is ideal for workshops, warehouses, garages, industrial and assembly halls, corridors and other larger spaces. It is excellent for stone paving, concrete floors, artificial turf and textile surfaces, especially carpets.

Thanks to the wide sweeping width of 41 cm, you can clean larger areas with fewer strokes. In addition, the curved bristles penetrate into unevenness and gaps, where sand and other dirt commonly settle.

In winter, the broom can also be used to sweep away light snow.

Sweeping away from or towards each other... it's a matter of habit!

People who work with brooms tend to fall into two camps. Some sweep primarily by pulling the broom towards themselves, while others prefer to push the broom in front of them. With regular brooms with straight bristles, both methods are possible.

However, Fritze® brooms with curved bristles are designed primarily for sweeping by pulling towards you.

It is during this movement that the unique "claw effect" of the curved bristles is fully manifested. They better reach into unevenness, gaps and structured surfaces, from where they effectively capture and extract settled dirt.

The broom can of course also be used in a sweeping motion away from you, for example to quickly sweep up coarse dirt. However, you will achieve the best results by pulling it towards you, ideally slightly to the side of your body. This gives you better control over the broom and makes the most of the curved bristles.

If you are used to sweeping only away from yourself, using the Fritz® broom may seem strange at first. However, after a few strokes, you will quickly discover the benefits of this sweeping method.

Broom width information

The size of Fritz® brooms is determined by the actual sweeping width, not just the size of their wooden body.

The Fritze® indoor broom XL has a wooden body that is 40 cm wide, while its sweeping width is 41 cm.

This difference is due to the flexible bristles that extend beyond the edges of the wooden body and naturally spread out to the sides when sweeping.

The sweeping width thus better reflects the actual area that the broom can clean in one stroke. On some Fritz® models, the sweeping width can be up to 5 cm wider than the wooden body itself.

Is the telescopic handle suitable and durable?

Yes, the Fritze® telescopic handle is a quality alternative to the classic wooden handle. It is strong, sufficiently rigid and at the same time allows you to adjust the length according to the user's height and working method.

Its main advantage is the combination of comfortable handling, adjustable length and compactness.

With a range of 80-140 cm, you can adjust the length of the handle to make sweeping as comfortable as possible. A properly adjusted length helps reduce unnecessary leaning forward and makes work easier, especially when cleaning larger areas.

When using, we recommend leaving a few centimeters of the handle inserted, rather than extending it all the way out. This will ensure greater stability of the entire structure.

When installing the handle into the broom head, always grip the thinner part of the telescopic tube. This will prevent excessive strain on the length adjustment mechanism.

When handled properly and gently, the telescopic handle offers high durability and comfort in everyday use.

Care, cleaning and storage

To ensure that the Fritze® XL broom maintains its excellent sweeping properties over the long term, we recommend regular maintenance of the bristles.

After the job is done, debris such as dust, sand, hair, lint, leaves or small twigs may remain trapped between the bristles. Remove this debris regularly to keep the bristles flexible and effective.

We recommend storing the broom in a dry environment, such as a workshop, garage, warehouse or garden shed.

Using in a humid environment or in the rain is possible, but it is not advisable to leave the broom exposed to adverse weather and constant moisture for a long time.

Proper care and appropriate storage help extend the life of the wooden body, handle, and bristles themselves.
