Balanced series:

• An exceptional line of fertilizers that utilizes the long-term action of nitrogen incorporated in oligomers of chained urea molecules of various lengths.
• It is designed to provide balanced basic nutrition for large grass areas. This series differs from the Basic and Premium series in that it contains 40% of the total nitrogen in the form of MU (chained urea). These are fertilizers with a gradual release of nitrogen due to microbial activity in the soil. This ensures an extended period of action of the fertilizer.
• The fertilizers in this series contain phosphorus in all nutrient combinations for all seasons for a more balanced supply of phosphorus to plants. The Balanced series is also characterized by a comprehensive content of all essential nutrients: N, P, K, Mg, S. Another advantage is that the fertilizers in the Balanced series have a reduced chloride content, so they minimize the risk of soil salinization with ballast chlorides.
• The MU form of nitrogen is very mobile in the soil, so even on very permeable sandy soils of playgrounds, the leaching of nitrogen from the soil is severely limited.

Methylene urea (MU) is a special source of slowly released nitrogen.
It is produced by condensing urea molecules with formaldehyde under precisely defined conditions, resulting in polymer chains of varying lengths. The pattern of gradual nitrogen release from MU is influenced mainly by the length of the resulting chains and the ratio between fast-acting nitrogen forms (water-soluble)
and forms capable of gradual nitrogen release (water-insoluble). Shorter chains are more soluble in water, therefore more available for microbial activity. In contrast, longer chains are less soluble and soil microorganisms need more time to convert them into soluble forms.
