Hanakuma Topiary 255/115

The hand-forged Hanakuma Topiary garden shears are 255 mm long and weigh 270 g. They belong to the group of one-handed Karikomi. 

They are made using traditional Japanese techniques piece by piece from the highest quality steel. 

The shears have razor-sharp blades measuring 115 mm in length. They hold their edge well and are easy to sharpen. They are a unique tool for both the professional and the passionate amateur gardener.

These one-handed scissors are best for shaping, for example, boxwoods, but also other plant shoots.

The entire blade is uniformly tempered. This is why the scissors are of such high quality. However, this technique is difficult, as it requires precise control of the time and temperature of heating the entire blade. Unlike conventional products whose blades are only partially tempered, Hanakuma will not warp or deform, even under poor conditions.

Perfect tempering makes these unique scissors strong and sturdy with a hard blade that retains its sharpness for a long time.
